Embroidered calligraphy

Choose from our dedicated calligraphies — Quran Karim on its own, round, wide, ornate, in a beaded or floral circle, and the Basmala, in a line or as a tulip — and have them embroidered in the colour of your choice, from subtle tone-on-tone to metallic gold.

Quran Arabesque, Quran Karim, Quran Karim Round, Quran Karim Wide, Basmala, Basmala Tulip, Quran Karim Beaded and Quran Karim Floral: each calligraphy is embroidered on the front of the Quran cover, on the back or on the spine, in the thread you choose.

Add a name, a kunya or a few words in Arabic, such as “Mushafi anisi”, on the front, the back or the spine. Each text can be placed, rotated and adjusted in the 3D atelier.

Choose your finishing touches: lace along the edges, a ribbon bookmark, a magnetic flap or a bow. The Quran cover comes together as you imagine it, and you see the result in 3D before ordering.

Made to measure for your mushaf

Small pocket size or large mushaf: enter the height, width and thickness of your Quran, and the atelier cuts the cover to the millimetre.

Your questions about the Quran cover

Which Quran sizes can be covered?

From a small pocket mushaf to a large format: 12 to 35 cm high, 8 to 26 cm wide and 0.5 to 10 cm thick. Give the exact measurements of your Quran, with nothing added: the allowance is built in when the cover is made, so it slips on and closes without forcing.

How do I measure my mushaf?

With the Quran closed, in centimetres: the height from top to bottom, the width from the binding to the edge, and the thickness following the curve of the spine with a soft tape measure. The measuring guide shows each step. In doubt, write to us with the title and edition: we check with you.

Which calligraphies and texts can be embroidered?

The atelier’s calligraphies — Quran Karim on its own, round, wide, ornate, in a beaded or floral circle, and the Basmala — and your own words in Arabic letters: a name, a kunya, an invocation. Each element goes on the front, the back or the spine, in the thread of your choice, from tone-on-tone to metallic gold.

Can an embroidered Quran cover be washed?

Yes: cold wash, 30 °C at most, dry flat, gentle ironing on the right side. The gold thread keeps its shine in the wash.

How long until I receive my Quran cover?

Each piece is made in 7 to 15 working days after payment, then shipped to a pickup point or to your door. Parcel tracking arrives by email.

Is it a good gift idea?

A Quran given as a gift deserves its case: for a wedding, a birth, Ramadan, Eid, a return from Umrah or Hajj. When ordering, write your message in the note to the atelier: we will slip it into the parcel.
